Home Battery Backup
in the East Texas and DFW area
Don't Get Left in the Dark
Save Power for When You Need It Most
With the Texas grid facing constant strain, power outages are a disruptive reality. A battery
backup system from EasTex Solar ensures you're never left in the dark.
When an outage occurs, your system kicks on within milliseconds, seamlessly powering
your essential appliances and keeping your family safe, secure, and comfortable.
Our expert solar battery installers provide the peace of mind that comes with having a
reliable, independent power source ready at a moment's notice.

Have full control of your power.
Use it when you need it.
Use battery power at night even when the grid is up.
Avoid nightly energy consumption and delivery charges.
Unlike a generator, your battery system can earn its keep even while
the grid is up. When the sun goes down, you can continue to avoid
importing power via battery cycling. This eliminates any delivery
“TDU” fees charged by utility, by using stored excess solar power
generated during the day.
There are also many energy plans offering to buy your stored power
at peak hours, increasing ROI, an option Eastex Solar is happy to
consult clients on.
How Solar Battery Storage Works
Measuring power in watts and hours
Battery storage is measured in Kilowatt Hours “kwh” allowing
Eastex Solar to guide homeowners on the right storage amount
based on their usage and battery life. For example, 32kwh of
storage, can run 2,000w for 16 hours (32/200=16).
For a lot of folks, the goal is using stored power from excess solar
production to power the home from sun down to sun up. When the
sun rises in the morning, batteries begin to charge, typically
reaching 100% before mid-day on a sunny day.
