Eastex installed by system 6 years ago, they had the best quote and provided excellent guidance throughout system design and installation. So good, I recommended them to my parents. I have had questions, they always answer promptly and they provided excellent. Warranty service, when my inverter stopped working. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The EasTex Solar group is outstanding! They excel at handling unique solar projects and provide personalized solutions, going far beyond a standard installation. I'm thrilled with my solar porch; from the design that complements my home's aesthetic to the quick, efficient execution.

East Texas Solar has been exceptional in every part of the process. In my experience, they are one of the most honest and reliable companies I’ve ever worked with. Their team monitors my system remotely and provides clear training so I can manage it myself whenever severe weather is expected.

Living in rural East Texas, power outages are common, but we hardly notice them anymore. The only indication is a notification on our phones showing that the grid went down—our home never skips a beat. Last month’s electric bill was –$16, and that covers a 2,500‑square‑foot home plus a 600‑square‑foot apartment in the barn.

Our Sol‑Ark system delivers high surge capacity, fast transfer times, and full whole‑home backup. For Texas homeowners looking for true energy independence, it’s one of the strongest solutions available.

I visited with several solar vendors looking for a great company that was based in our state, discovering Eastex Solar which we highly recommend. Eastex's approach to business and their value of relationships provided us the reassurance that we could be first time solar users, with the confidence that we found a partner that would assist us through the full process. They came to our location for a site review and helped me understand how the equipment worked, educated us on the install process and shared their knowledge of which was of great value. This transparency and knowledge transfer made selecting Eastex Solar simply as we forged a relationship with Reece which we did not experience with vendors. Eastex Solar provided a great summary document which defined the exact items we needed, from Texas manufactured panels to the battery system which supports our electric needs in the evenings. Communication was excellent as we moved from the design to the sales closure. The honesty and commitment to our project continued during the install, working with our electric provider to help us gain rebates and continues as we learn details from Eastex months after the installation. There is no doubt that we selected the right company, one that continues to help monitor our system for performance, answers questions about the app that reports system details to us, and is glad to see our results of not paying an electric bill since the system went live as we export more power to the grid than we import. Very glad that we found Eastex Solar and a company that we know will support their system - and us!

After the freeze of 2021 and being without electricity for a week, I felt the need to look at an alternate energy source. I looked at generators, etc but the issue was when you ran out of gas or propane you still did not have electricity. I started looking at solar and contacted Cal at EasTexSolar. Cal designed a plan for me where I could live off the grid if necessary. They installed 80 solar panels and a battery backup system in about 4 days. The system almost daily exports more electricity to the grid than I import, even on cloudy days. I made the mistake of signing a long term contract with an energy company for electricity before I had decided on solar which prevented me from getting credit or paid for the excess production. That contract has since expired and Reece recommended a coop that not only buys back the excess energy but will also apply it to Oncor's distribution fee. Therefore, you can get a true net zero bill.
I have had made system for almost 5 years and I am very pleased with it. Cal is always available to answer my questions and to tweak my system should I mess up a setting.
I highly recommend EasTexSolar for your energy needs. They are true professionals and just good people.

After getting 9 bids on Energy Sage, EasTex Solar was one of the most affordable and quickest to respond to my questions. They worked with me through a few quirks, took care of all the city permitting and delivered a system that was exactly as agreed upon. No extra fees or surprises. I love the REC Alpha panels and Sunny Boy inverters.

UPDATE: 4 years later and everything is working like a charm. 0 maintenance issues.

We have had trouble with our solar panels since the original BAD install 6 years ago. I called Eastex Solar 3 weeks ago and was immediately offered a solution. My 34 panels were removed, repairs to my roof were made and all panels were reinstalled with the proper wiring and installation that my original install are did not do. The process was reasonably priced AND professionally done all very timely and I could not be more pleased.

When I began looking into solar in 2018 I was inundated with national companies that promise better design and support along with low cost financing. But the high costs and overly aggressive tactics of these companies soon turned me off to Solar. And rightfully so. After significant research and reference checks, I chose EasTex Solar and couldn't be happier. First, the cost was SIGNIFICANTLY lower. And for a truly customized design to meet my specific needs using equipment sourced from some of the Nations top manufacturers. Don't be fooled into thinking you need a far away broker choosing your solar solution. They will markup the system and sell you a generic solution. Cal uses the best equipment available and detailed knowledge of Texas utilities, weather patterns, and laws to come up with the best system for your specific situation. And then there is the installation and support... EasTex Solar's people were smart, clean, courteous, and installed everything exactly as advertised. They worked with TVEC to coordinate schedules and handled all of the paperwork. I had one small issue several months after installation and with one phone call, my issue was resolved. We all have our own reasons for going Solar but one thing we all expect is a system that delivers a lot of power for the price. Quietly. And without any hassles during or after installation. If that is what you are looking for, EasTex Solar delivers. And 8 years later the support remains great. 1 issue in that timeframe isn't bad at all :)
